If you think of UI Design in the context of one screen, then User Experience (UX) Design is the process of designing how to multiple screens work together to solve a user problem or achieve a goal. You can think of this in the context of a specific flow within an app i.e how do I checkout my shopping cart? and also how all these users flows add up to form the overall user experience of your product i.e your entire eCommerce app.
